Lemon Pickle

Pickled lime or lemon is a must have in my household. I use them regularly in salads, sandwiches and even gravies. Yes, I can buy them from the store, but I get to experiment flavors when I make them myself.

Ingredients
  • Lemons or lime cut into half and rubbed with some salt
  • White vinegar (enough to cover the lemons)
Directions
  • Place the lemons in a pot and cover with vinegar.
  • Then boil it till the lemon halves are cooked. 
  • Then leave them to cool before transferring into a jar.
  • Leave the jar overnight and then store it in the fridge.
  • Use the pickle after two weeks.
